This summer in RUF ...
One of my favorite things we do in RUF ... Huntsville's Summer Concerts
in the Park. Join us every Monday night (starting Mon. June 1) until
the fall semester starts from 6:30-8 PM at Big Spring Park downtown for
great live music, picnicin', and hanging out with your friends. Like last year,
look for our crew near the "eternal flame" and the gazebo. Call Brad
on his cell phone (256.724.2774) if you can't find us.
Join us Saturday, June 6 for our annual Walls of Jericho hiking trip! Meet at the University Center Parking Lot at 8:30 AM.
We'll caravan to the Walls of Jericho, hike in, eat lunch at the bottom, and
then hike out. Bring plenty of water and pack a lunch! We should be back to UAH
by mid-late afternoon.
Don't forget to stay connected this summer! Guys, talk to Chris Hein
(heincm@gmail.com) if you're interested in being a part of the Guys' Small
Group this summer. Girls, talk to Abbi Schopp (abbi.schopp@gmail.com) or
Whitney Hedges (wah0001@uah.edu) if you're interested in being a part of the Girls'
Small Group. The girls are meeting on Tuesday nights at 7:30 PM at the
Atlanta Bread Co. on University Dr.
Summer is a great time to check out and plug into one of these groups if you
haven't before!
Finally, talk to Brad if you're interested in helping him meet incoming UAH
freshmen at Compass orientation this summer. We'll have a table set up at
each Compass club fair and have the opportunity to tell students about
RUF!
Stay tuned for details about a visit to The Village Church,
cookout & pool party (w/ possible appearance by Rev Carabine), and other
upcoming summer events ...
